Disability Support worker

Hello, Mr Thompson is a unique and growing Sydney-based disability support company. Currently, we work across Sydney and have various roles available throughout Metropolitan Sydney. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our growing team. Experience in disability is not essential but it is highly regarded.

Requirements for this role

First aid/CPR Certificate;

Paid Working with Children's Check;

Successful candidates will be required to provide and clear all state-based checks; including but not limited to National Criminal History Record Check;

Recent/contactable industry-related references; and

Driver's License own transport essential

Tasks & responsibilities

Working independently with clients in their homes

Support clients to access the wider community

Personal care and support at home including showering, toileting and other personal care requirements

Support clients to achieve goals

LGBTQIA+ friendly

Ability to travel

Basic cooking and cleaning
