We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic Disability Support Workers to provide quality support to our disability participants throughout the Perth Metropolitan area, from Armadale in the south to Joondalup in the north. We are currently seeking support workers in the following suburbs:

The role:

You will be providing exceptional support to participants in their homes and in the community. Activities may include personal care, domestic tasks, transport and social assistance for participants to engage in community activities.

This is a casual role on commencement, you choose when you work, and when you have time off! Upon mutual agreement this could be converted to a part time role in future.

The role may require early morning starts or late afternoon finishes.

You must have:

Certificate III in Disability or equivalent experience or working towards

NDIS Worker Screening

Working With Children Check - W.A. (or willing to obtain)

Proof of working rights - passport; birth certificate; visa

Valid West Australian driver's license

A reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance

First Aid and CPR qualifications (or willing to obtain)

Desirable requirements:

Experience working with children

Manual Handling qualification (or willing to obtain)

Experience as a support worker in the health/disability sector.

Experience with complex care needs: spinal care, bowel treatments, PEG feeds etc.
