About the role

FUTURE BUTTERFLY is seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team in Baxter and Endeavour Hills VIC. As a casual employee, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and high-quality care to individuals with disabilities, communicate clearly and with great detail, ensuring the people we serve live independently and participate fully in their communities.

Jobs Available:

Baxter male 60's with ASD requiring behaviour management

Facilitating social and recreational activities to promote clients' wellbeing and community engagement

Monday, Thursday 8am-2pm and Friday 10-4pm

Seeking a male support worker with experience with behaviours, closer to the clients age would be ideal.

Maintaining accurate records and documentation to ensure the provision of safe and effective care

Endeavour Hills female 9 years with ASD, defiance disorder and behaviours

Monday to Friday 7am-9am school drop off 3-5pm school pick up

Seeking male or female who can engage, cook pancakes and relate to a young person.

What we're looking for

Relevant qualifications in Disability Support, Community Services, or a related field

Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a community-based setting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families

A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and lead fulfilling lives

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

A current First Aid & CPR certificate, working with children's check, NDIs clearance check and a valid driver's license
