Mpower Inc. has an exciting opportunity to lead our NDIS Plan Management team. Working within our Community Services and Development Department, Plan Management plays a vital role as the link between individuals and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Plan Management ensures that the funding individuals receive from the NDIS is tailored to their specific disability, the types of services and resources required and their goals.
Who is Mpower
Mpower is a well-established, successful, accredited not-for-profit community based organisation servicing South West Victoria. Established in 1975, the operation of Mpower has grown from a small voluntary service to an accredited agency employing more than 95 staff, providing a range of clinical and support services to over 1200 families regionally. Vast growth over the last five years, including the introductions of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and expansion of community sector services has allowed us to develop responsive and complimentary services in our local community.
The Role
The Coordinator of Plan Management oversees and undertakes the delivery of Mpower’s Plan Management services. The role is a leadership position within Mpower’s Community Services and Development Department and contributes to the leadership of the broader organisation. The Coordinator oversees the day-to-day work of the Plan Management team including personnel management and task allocation to deliver the service in accordance with best practice and NDIS standards.
The ideal candidate needs to have strong leadership and customer services skills with an ability to use knowledge and processes to generate positive solutions to maintain and expand high quality services. The ideal candidate needs to have initiative, attention to detail and excellent interpersonal and IT application skills. Along with a committed service support acumen we're looking for individuals who understand the importance of confidentiality and working in a sensitive client environment.
