The opportunity
As the Quality and Compliance Officer you will work with our leaders to develop systems and processes that support our programs ongoing ability to provide quality services to our clients.
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will contribute to the culture of continuous improvement and will assist with compliance with relevant accreditation, legislative and industry quality standards.
Your work will encompass diverse fields such as Governance, Risk, Child Protection, Disability, Family, Housing & Homelessness and Youth Services.

Responsibilities of the role:
Assist in the development and maintenance of IFYS quality documents, processes and systems
Assist in identifying and implementing continuous improvement across the organisation
Support the Quality Manager in the delivery of key projects, from concept to completion
Conduct internal compliance audits and assessments
Assist with identifying and monitoring of corrective actions/plans
Conduct feedback reviews for internal and external stakeholders and clients
To be successful in this role you will possess:
Excellent written and interpersonal skills
Experience within the Human Services sector is highly regarded
Strong research skills and quality auditing skills
Knowledge and understanding of risk management
Well-developed organisational and administrative skills
Exceptional attention to detail, with a high level of accountability
Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
Willingness to travel as the role requires
Must hold or be willing to obtain if successful:
QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
QLD Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening Check
Licensed Care Suitability Check (LCS2)
National Criminal History Check (a new check will be requested through IFYS systems)
Ability to provide two recent line manager references including your current employer
