Our mission is more urgent than ever, and we’re seeking acompassionate and experienced Clinical Supervisorto support our dedicated therapeutic team.
Our team of clinicians, caseworkers, advocates, and support staff delivers a range of trauma-informed services — including counselling, family support, advocacy, and Redress assistance — to children and families impacted by child sexual abuse. Spread across SE and FN Queensland, they bring empathy, courage, and commitment to every interaction, with a strong focus on self-care and professional growth.
About the position
This is a flexible hybrid position, allowing you to work mostly from your home office, while attending our Gold Coast (Arundel) office every second week for in-person connection.
Part time position 3- 4 days per week
Lead the growth and development of Bravehearts’ therapeutic services team.
Provide clinical supervision, debriefing, and professional development support.
Collaborate with the leadership team to strengthen service quality and staff wellbeing.
Contribute to policies, programs, and practices that align with Bravehearts’ mission.
Support a culture of trauma-informed, ethical, and reflective practice.
Classified under Level 7 of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS).
About you
A tertiary qualification in Psychology or Social Work, with registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant professional body.
Accredited or working towards accreditation as a Clinical Practice Supervisor.
Experience supporting clients in clinical settings, ideally with a focus on child sexual abuse or complex trauma.
A strong commitment to upholding privacy, confidentiality, and ethical practice.
A collaborative and constructive communication style, with the ability to engage in honest and respectful dialogue.
The capacity to maintain healthy boundaries, and support wellbeing for self and others.
