About Us
We are committed to delivering quality services to our NDIS and Aged Care participants, and we're looking for a motivated professional to join our team as a Support Worker.
About the Role
We’re seeking compassionateSupport Workerto assist an adult participant inChester Hillwith a focus on manual handling, medication administration, personal care, and clear Mandarin & English communication. The participant requires daily support to live safely and comfortably in a shared home and stay connected to the community.
What you will do
Provide respectful personal care (showering, grooming, continence support, dressing)
Safely performmanual handlingand use mobility aids as required
Administer/assist withmedicationin line with competency and care plans
Support daily living, meal prep, light housekeeping and community access
Complete accurate shift notes and incident reporting
Communicate effectively inMandarin****and Englishwith participants, families and the care team
What you will bring
**Fluency in Mandarin,**confident English for notes and handovers.
Previous experience in Disability/Aged Care or Personal Care (Stroke/hoist/manual handling experience highly regarded)
Certificate III and above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Community Service or Disability will be an advantage.
Current validDriver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle
Current or willing to obtain aFirst Aid and CPR certificate.
Current or willing to obtainNDIS Worker Screening Check
Current or willing to obtainWorking with Children Check
Warm, respectful communicator who can work independently
High level of time management and organisational ability.
Employment Type
Casualengagement to start (Penalty rates per Award)
Performance review at 2 monthsforPart-Time or Full-Timeconsideration based on performance, participant feedback and roster needs.
