About the role

Welcome Disability Service are looking for a passionate and experienced Allied Health Professional to join their dedicated team in Launceston, Tasmania. In this part-time role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapy and support services to our participants with varying disabilities and needs.

What you'll be doing

Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop personalised plans for participants

Deliver a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions

Support participants to achieve their goals and maximise their independence and quality of life

Collaborate with participants, their families and other allied health professionals to coordinate holistic care

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our service delivery

What we're looking for

Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Developmental Education, Social Work, or Behaviour Support

Current registration with the appropriate Allied Health professional board

Demonstrated experience in the disability sector

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with participants from all backgrounds

Strong problem-solving and clinical reasoning skills

Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred supports

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
