About the role
We're looking forAllied Health Assistants who are currently studying a Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapyto join our team of Occupational Therapists, Behavioural Support Practitioners, Social Workers and Speech Pathologists.
You'll be closely supported by our amazingOccupational Therapy Team Leadand will have access to professional development, regular ongoing supervision and the wealth of knowledge from our team!
You'llput theory into practiceby doing a variety of OT related tasks withclients across the age range, including in-person appointments facilitation of groups which you will help create, potentially overnight stays in a new innovative program, and also non-face-to-face tasks such as resource development and report writing.
We're a mobile business so you'llwork with clients in their home, school or communitylocation to assist them to reach their full potential.
Do your non-face-to-face activitiesat homeor at our home base in Burwood East.
This role isextremely flexibleand we pride ourselves on work life balance and support.

About you
Currently studying a Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy
Current Working With Children's Check
Valid National Police Check (not older than 2 years)
Current drivers licence and reliable car with comprehensive car insurance
Happy to travel to clients in Melbourne's eastern suburbs
Current Level 2 first aid certificate and CPR certificate
NDIS Workers Screen Check (can be obtained after applicant is successful)
NDIS Workers Mandatory Worker Training Certificate (can be obtained after applicant is successful)
Medication training (can be obtained after applicant is successful)
