Administration Assistant

Flourishing Life Psychologyis a growing Psychology private practice located inPort Macquarie, NSW.

We are a dynamic and friendly team who strive to provide exceptional quality care to our clients. We offer psychological counselling services to children, adolescents and adults.

Flourishing Life Psychology is seeking a highly motivated Administration Assistant to join our team. The right applicant must have excellent communication and organisational skills to best support our professional staff and meet the needs of our clients. Please note, this is not an entry level position. Please note for a period of time, some admin cover and training may be required for a couple of months in our Taree office as well.

The role requires provision of administrative services for Flourishing Life Psychology with duties and desired characteristics of the employee as below:

· Attention to detail *****

· Management of Medicare and private health information

· Typing notes, letters, documents

· Friendly demeanour to meet and greet our clients

· Previous experience in allied health and an interest in mental health would be highly regarded

· Answering and making phone calls

· Scheduling and managing client appointments

· Managing referral and client database

· Managing client paperwork and referrals

· Preparing letters for Doctors, health professionals etc.

· Managing Facebook and website (optional)

· Scanning and shredding of hard copy information

· Managing electronic files

· General office management and tidying of space

Willingness to learn our scheduling system and good computer skills.

The applicant must have the ability to obtain a working with children check (WWCC). The position is initially casual and requires approximately 2-4 days per week with some flexibility with days. Pay will be commensurate with experience**.**Training provided for the position.
